NRS 240A.310 Effect of provisions of chapter. The provisions of this chapter do not:
- Authorize the practice of law by any person who is not an active member of the State Bar of Nevada or otherwise authorized to practice law in this State; or
- Prohibit a person from representing or otherwise acting for himself or herself in a legal matter without the services of an attorney.

Pursuant to NRS 240A.240, Prohibited acts by registrant; exceptions,
- A registrant shall not: … (g) Except as otherwise provided in subsection
- provide any advice, explanation, opinion or recommendation to a client about possible legal rights, remedies, defenses, options or the selection of documents or strategies, except that a registrant may provide to a client published factual information, written or approved by an attorney, relating to legal procedures, rights or obligations.
